Connect terms

Hemong Connect is an optional paid membership. You do not need it to use Hemong. Please read these terms, and the plain facts on our Connect page, before you decide to join.

1. Who runs Connect

Connect is run by HEMONG DOT ASIA, 201103103176 (002037193-T), [Registered business address] ("Hemong", "we", "us"). These terms sit alongside our terms of service and privacy policy. If they disagree about Connect, these terms apply to Connect.

2. What Connect is

Connect is a paid membership. A member can see the people in their network, invite people they know, and earn cash bonuses under the plan rules. It is separate from ordering food or booking rides, and nothing else in Hemong depends on it.

Connect is not a job, a salary, a partnership or an investment. We do not promise any income.

3. Who can join

  • You must be at least [18] years old and have a Hemong account in good standing.
  • One person may have one Connect membership.
  • You join only if you choose to. Nobody should pressure you, and you should not borrow money to join.

4. Plans, price and payment

There are two plans: Connect Starter at RM29 and Connect Pro at RM79. [Billing period, for example monthly]

  • You pay from your Hemong Credits, inside the app. The price is shown before you confirm.

  • Credits and Hemong Points cannot be withdrawn. Only bonuses paid into your Cash wallet can be.

5. Your network

The network view shows the people placed in your network and any open places. You can invite people you know into open places. [How people are placed in a network]

6. How bonuses work

Bonuses are worked out under the plan rules shown in the app before you subscribe. [Summary of how bonuses are calculated, matching the live plan]

Bonuses are funded by membership subscriptions from people in the network. That means they depend on other people joining and staying subscribed. They are not guaranteed, and there is no minimum. [Confirm the funding source against the live plan]

Bonuses are paid into your Cash wallet, which shows what is available, pending and paid.

7. Payouts

  • To withdraw, link a bank account in your wallet and keep an active membership.
  • You can ask for a payout when your available Cash reaches the minimum payout of [minimum payout amount].
  • Payouts are made [payout timing]. [Any payout fees]
  • We may check your identity before paying, and may hold a payout while we look into a concern.
  • You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.

8. Please understand the risks

  • You can earn nothing.
  • You can end up earning less than your membership cost.
  • Earnings depend on other people, which you do not control.
  • We do not publish example earnings, because they would not be typical.

If you are unsure, do not join. You can use everything else in Hemong without Connect.

9. Talking about Connect with others

If you tell other people about Connect, you must be honest. You must not:

  • promise or suggest a particular income, or say that Connect is a way to get rich or a safe return;
  • describe Connect as a job, a salary, a savings product or an investment;
  • pressure anyone, or ask anyone to borrow money to join;
  • hide the risks above, or the fact that bonuses depend on other people joining;
  • use the Hemong name or logo in a way that suggests we have endorsed what you say.

If you break this section we may remove bonuses linked to it and suspend or end your membership.

10. Cancelling and refunds

You can stop your membership at any time from the app. [Refund and cancellation terms for Connect, including any cooling off period]

11. Fair use and suspension

The following are not allowed: creating accounts or memberships that are not real people, inviting yourself through another account, working with others to produce bonuses that do not come from genuine members, and giving us false information. If we find a breach we may reverse the bonuses concerned, hold payouts, and suspend or end the membership. We will tell you why where we can.

13. Changes, complaints and the law

We may change the plans or these terms with [30] days notice in the app. A change does not reduce bonuses you have already earned. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop your membership.
